NASHVILLE STUDIO PRODUCTIONS is headed by Doyle
Grisham of Tennessee and Georgia guitarist/vocalist,
Mike Watson. Doyle is no stranger to the Nashville Music
Scene having played on hit records by Lynn Anderson, England
Dan and John Ford Coley, Dr. Hook, Bill Anderson, Buzz
Cason, The Hemphills, The Rambos, The Lewis Family, Peter
Yarrow (of Peter, Paul & Mary), Freddy Weller, Dickey
Lee, Kenny Rogers and The First Edition, Jim Glaser, George
Jones, Johnny Duncan, Reba McIntire, Dan Seals, Randy Travis,
Mel Tillis, Frankie Lane, Roy Drusky and Kitty Wells, Del
Reeves, Mac Wiseman, Leona Williams, Baillie and the Boys,
Tiny Tim and Jimmy Buffett, just to name a few, and is
currently the steel guitarist for Jimmy Buffett's Corel
Reefer Band.
Mike Watson has
worked out of Nashville, off and on, for a number of years
and has worked exclusively with Grisham since 1985, when
Grisham produced his single, "The Grass Is Never Greener." Watson
has performed with or opened for, Alan Frizzell, Janie Frickie,
Confederate Railroad, Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds, Cheap
Trick, Ricky Van Shelton, The Freddy Fender Band and Darlene
Austin, along with a host of other fine entertainers. As
a writer, Watson has had songs placed with BMG Music, Kansa
Records, Velvet Apple, Denney Music Group, just to name a
few and has co-written with Alan Frizzell, Darlene Austin
and Dan Hamilton (Lead Singer for Hamilton, Joe Frank and
Reynolds with the hits, Don't Pull Your Love and Fallin'
In Love Again).
Watson & Grisham
have been recording together since 1985 doing select projects
and as the demand has grown for the sound productions they
deliver, along with many of Nashville's finest musicians,
they have decided to offer their services to any songwriter
or artist that is serious about their music and want to
deliver a top notch production of their finished product
to publishing and recording companies.
